This is the shape of tool that stops a small business writing the same quote email forty times a month. Pick the job on the left; the price builds itself on the right, line by line, so nobody has to ask how it was worked out.

Why show the working?
A number on its own invites haggling. A number with six visible lines under it invites a booking, because the customer can see which line to remove if they want it cheaper — and removing a line is a much easier conversation than a discount.
What it replaces
A phone call, a site visit, or a quote email written from scratch. Enquiries arrive already priced and already qualified, and the ones that were never going to book filter themselves out before they cost you an afternoon.
Where it goes
Embedded in your existing website, hosted as its own page, or emailed as a file. It has no server behind it, so there is nothing to keep paying for and nothing that can go down at 11pm on a Sunday.
What changes for you

Under the hood
Every price in this page is a named constant at the top of one small script, with a comment next to it. Changing what a bathroom costs is a one-line edit that a non-programmer can make safely — which matters, because prices change and calling a developer about it every January is not a good use of anyone's money.
